Well we moved to Colorado on March 15th! We have been here now for three weeks and it seems like much longer with all that has been accomplished. We packed up our belongings, rented a Budget truck and drove to Montrose, Colorado. We are staying with some friends, Pastor Ben and his wife Judy. Delta is 26 miles from Montrose so daily we are driving out there. We have been looking for housing as well for our family. We are trying to buy a home right now and if all goes well we will be in that home by the end of April. Praise the LORD!
The first weekend we were here, we were able to go and secure a building for the church to meet in. Praise the Lord for HIS provision!
On Palm Sunday, April 1st, the doors to Agape Christian Fellowship of Delta opened its doors. We are so excited. We had a full-house for our first Sunday it was so awesome! We are super excited to see what God is doing. The kids and I, Britny, are sick now with fevers and bad colds so we will be unable to make the Wednesday night service tonight, but Jason is there preparing and waiting for the people.
Something else that we have been doing for the last three weeks is going door to door, sharing the Gospel with people, and inviting them to our Easter service on Sunday the 8th. Jason has been doing this on his own and has made it to about 200 homes. He has met some very open people. Many people have never even heard the Gospel! Also, he has met some people that are hurting and have asked him to pray for them. One man asked him to pray for his wife because she is ill, then the next day he came to the church office and had lunch with Jason and poured out his heart. his wife has dimensia and he is seeking. We praise God for people who have continued to financially support us so Jason can devote his entire day to the planting of Agape Christian Fellowship in the city of Delta, CO. He is in the city Tuesday- Sunday all day. He is in the office serving those who step in during the day and then from 2:00 PM and into the evening he knocks on the doors of those in the community and shares the Gospel with them and serves them in anyway he can. Please continue to pray for the hearts of the people here. There are only 6,000 people in the city and we have a goal to knock on every door!
Thank you for all your support!
