Our church decided it was time to reach out to the villages around our city! So we packed up the kids and backpacks filled with Newspapers and New testaments and went out to a village called Berichino! We walked around and a few rode bicycles and we put the Newspaper, Heavenly Light, that we publish monthly, in the mailboxes and in peoples' hands as well. We try to speak with a few people about the Lord, but many rejected what we had to say. Many also yelled and screamed at a few of the women in our church, cursing and were angry at our presence. The next afternoon we rented a van and packed up some clothes and took them back to the village and gave out free clothes to the people in the village. We also brought many books by Calvary authors and many were interested in reading those as well. We will be returning to the village next week to see a Grandma that we met who is interested in fellowshipping with us and also has some needs that we would like to help her with. Please pray for this village, hearts are cold to the Gospel.
