Good Morning!
We hope that all is well with you in the States or wherever you might be right now. We are all healthy still thank you for all of your prayers. Many people around us are ill at the moment so please continue to pray for our health.
Well, first things first, we still do not know if our documents will be ready by the time our visas expire on the 8th of September. Please continue to pray for this process and that all will be complete in God's timing. We already know that we have the residency it is just a matter of the stamp in our passport from the government. We will call again next week probably on the third. At that point we will decide what we are doing. If the documents are not ready by the 7th then we will fly out to California on our return ticket which had already been booked on the 8th. Please please pray for us over the next week as this is a critical step. If we return back to the States once again there is money involved and so on. So, please pray for the leaders here, the administration in Vladimir and the woman processing our paperwork her name is Katya Bachova.
Next, today Anya reutrns to the hospital in Vladimir for her next two week treatment of Chemotherapy. Please pray for her body. She is getting weaker. She is tired and worn out often as her body is battling this cancer. Please pray that she will continue to walk with the Lord and grow as she has been. Thank you for all your prayers for her and your encouragement to her.
Victoria, the women who visits the hospitals and ministers to the women and speaks out against abortion is doing okay. She has had a very difficult summer with the entrance of her daughter's father back into their lives. Her daughter is 14 and he now wants to be a part of their lives but is causing much pain to them. Please pray for them, for wisdom and for a clear mind. There are many emotions and it is easy to have a clouded perspective through our emotions. She will be coming to San Diego, California for a two week trip in September. She will be working with a ministry there that supports her to do the work here in Russia. Please pray for her time that she will be refreshed and the Lord will also speak into her situation here while she is seperated from it. Please also pray that the door will remain open in the Hospital as many women each week hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ as well as offered hope in many hopeless sitautions.
This week we will have a vidoe outreach in our home for our neighbors. Please continue to pray for this that many will be open to hearing the Gospel and be set free from the slavery of sin! We continue to speak with people on the streets and continue to ask the Lord for opportunity to share with others all around us, please pray for people who are open and ready to hear the Words of Jesus to meet up with us!
I have been studying through the minor prophets and I have been so blessed by God's faithfulness amongst an unfaithful people! I wanted to share with you the encouragement that the Lord gave to me. In the past six years that we have been ministering in Russia and the five years in Kolchugino many people have heard the Gospel and many people have walked through our door and even sat under the Word for a period of time only to leave. However, the Lord is not through with them not unitl death comes to them. So in the last three months we have seen great fruit of the faithfulness of God and how He uses us through that and our prayers. Marina whom we have known for four years and put a lot of time, finances and love into has now seen for herself the faithfulnees of Jesus in her own life and is choosing to walk with him. She lives 1.5 hours walk from us, but walks to come to services and to have fellowship with us, or on a difficult day comes to find encouragement! Praise be to Jesus. Also we have seen youth who have walked away and lived in the world decide to follow the Lord.
My question to all of us, have we gone astray like Gomer the wife of Hosea and decide to walk in Spiritual Harlotry against the God of Heaven and Earth? The God who created all things, time and space? He is chasing us and has bought you back for himself so that he can be a loving husband who cares for you all the days of your life.
Just a thought to ponder on for awhile and to really put it all into perspective!
