We are doing really well. It has been getting better and better as far as our ministry and adjustment to a new city goes! Praise the Lord for all his help in adjusting to a new life here in Vladimir.
It is hard to say goodbye to Kolchugino but the Lord is faithful and has great plans for the people in the city in Kolchugino and the church there. At the end of September a Russian couple will move there to Pastor the church.
We have started home school and have been learning about the book of Genesis in depth with the kids. It has been such a great start to school this year I am so blessed to see all the connections between God's word and the history that we are studying. The kids are quoting scripture and learning how the bible can apply to their lives even in the first and second grade Jonathan has started to read I was worried there because he was getting the least amount of attention in that area! But he is starting to get it, Praise the Lord!
We are missing home! It is coming up on one year since we returned. We arrived back in Russia on November 3rd, 2009. We received our three -year visa and then moved to Vladimir on December 15th. It has been go, go, go since our move and the start of the Bible College, as well as continuing to travel to Kolchugino twice a week to teach the services there. So we are misisng our dear loved ones in the USA. So hello to all of our Grandparents, parents, siblings, Cousins, nieces and nephews and so on. We miss you guys!
We talked about possibly coming back to the USA for the holidays. However, this would mean separating our family and having to raise quite a bit of funds around the holiday season! So we have decided that at the end of the Spring semester we will come to spend the summer in the US with our family and friends. We will be misisng you until then!!! We wish we could make the trip more than once, but financially it will not work!
